This 3.2-megapixel shooter's small size belies all the features crammed into its ultracompact 3.46-by-2.24-by-0.66-inch stainless-steel case. Casio managed to find room for a 2-inch LCD and a 2.8X optical zoom on the Exilim EX-S100, while retaining a sensible, easy-to-use control layout. It boasts excellent performance and is packed with fun features, including do-it-yourself user-definable scene modes and in-camera HTML album generation.

Sleek and diminutive, the Casio Exilim EX-S100 is one of a handful of ultra slim zoom cameras. Offering a 3.2 megapixel resolution and a 2.8X optical zoom that folds neatly into a space less than 1.42 cm (0.56 inch), the EX-S100 is a camera that can literally be carried anywhere.

The Casio Exilim EX-S100 is perhaps the most elegant camera in our roundup. It has an understated design in stainless steel, with just a few unobtrusive buttons. Further, Casio bills the EX-S100 as the world's smallest digital camera with an optical zoom lens; it's the size of a credit card and amazingly thin, thanks to its novel ceramic lens technology.

The Casio Exilim Card EX-S100 is a 3 megapixel digital camera with a 2.8x optical zoom lens that offers a focal length of 36-102mm and a large 2-inch LCD screen. On paper at least. In reality it is a super-compact, super-thin digicam that really has to be seen to be believed. Casio's Exilim Card range of digital cameras has long been known for delivering incredibly small and slim models that are little bigger than a credit card. The Casio Exilim Card EX-S100 is no different. All of this is housed in a stylish and hard-wearing metal casing. But is the Casio Exilim Card EX-S100 just too small for its own good? Carry on reading my extensive review to find out if it's actually a good camera or not.

Every year the latest Exilim camera from Casio seems to get smaller and Casio with its latest model has made no exception to the rule. The size of a credit card (thanks to Casio opting for this model to be the first to opt for a ceramic lens rather than a glass optical one) the EX-S100 is very pocketable - its only 17mm thick - and even better it offers a very compact 2.8x optical and 4x zoom and a large 2in LCD display on the rear. Somehow, Casio has made enough room for a rechargeable battery and even an SD Card slot.
